Quality Control Lead

Jake is a Pittsburgh local who started his career with Pepsi as a vending merchandiser and transitioned to SDC Nutrition in 2014 as a member of our production team. He put in his dues and impressed our VP of Quality and quickly became a pivotal member of the Quality team.

As the QC Lead, Jake is responsible for testing both the raw ingredients and finished goods to ensure that all materials meet the requirements set forth by out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You could say that Jake’s role is at the core of the entire quality experience here at SDC as he ensures that our products receive the SDC stamp of approval before going out to any customers.

This year Jake has set his mind on establishing an even higher level of consistency in execution when it comes to the entire Quality team and he’s got his sights set on taking advantage of every opportunity to help the company and the department provide better service for our customers.
